Meet Sandra,
Massage therapist. Movement enthusiast. Survivor. Creator of Cranky Yoga.
Since 2006, Sandra Partridge has dedicated her life to helping people feel better in their bodies. As a licensed and Board Certified massage therapist, she built her practice, Back in Balance Complete Wellness, around a simple belief: healing happens when we care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
But in December 2019, Sandra's own life was turned upside down when a head-on collision with a drunk driver left her with multiple fractures and a long road to recovery. Doctors weren't sure she would ever walk normally again, let alone return to the career she loved.
Sandra refused to accept that as her story.
Through movement, massage, yoga, fitness, nature, music, and the unwavering support of her family and friends, she fought her way back. Her recovery became a powerful reminder of what she had spent years helping others discover: the body is capable of incredible things when we give it movement, care, patience, and compassion.
That journey eventually sparked something unexpected—Cranky Yoga.
Born from a frustrating attempt to film a yoga video, Cranky Yoga began with a cranky skeleton in Tree Pose and a rebellious sense of humor. What started as a creative idea quickly became a brand celebrating resilience, movement, kindness, and the refusal to be defeated by life's challenges.
Today, Sandra's work and her brands are connected by one purpose: helping people find strength, healing, and a little more joy along the way.
Whether you're on the massage table or wearing a Cranky Skelly tee, the message is the same:
Keep moving. Keep laughing. Keep fighting. And above all else—be kind.
